Team Character Basketball: 4-6Through 1-hour clinics, this program integrates teaching the fundamentals of basketball with interactive exercises to build your child’s self-esteem, character, and social-emotional learning skills. Our new curriculum focuses on promoting the development of the attributes described in the FCPS Portrait of a Graduate. Our goal is to provide children the tools to be successful in life and make the right choices when faced with adversity. Sports are a natural medium to teach that message because students have fun and exercise while learning.
About the instructor: Former Herndon High School basketball star and Division I college player, Coach Michael Thomas provides top-notch basketball instruction in a fun, high-energy environment. In recent years, he has taught basketball clinics at area elementary and middle schools with excellent responses from students, parents and principals. Dates: 3/20 – 5/1 (no meeting on 4/10)

Cost: $63 per child for six 1-hour classes (includes online convenience fee)
