We are two rising seniors at TJHSST who founded Nation’s Capital Debate Academy with a passion to teach public speaking and debate to elementary and middle schoolers. We have so far conducted six debate camps and have trained over 100 ES and MS students. We are planning on running multiple online debate camps during the upcoming summer break for 5th to 8th-grade students.
We had past participants from Herndon Elementary School who benefitted from these camps and loved it. The student and parent feedback we received cite that our camps are fun and engaging for students and they gain and hone their debate and speech skills in a non-competitive manner. Many of our current camp registrations are from past participants who can’t wait to join us back!
If any student who registers using this school code HDES2021, we would be honored to donate 10% of our camp fee to your PTA organization. Also, this summer, we are offering a discounted fee for need-based students to encourage them to gain from our camps as well.
