Wednesday is Walk or Bike to School Day
Plan to walk or bike to school, if at all possible. This is a great way to enjoy some fresh air and exercise!
Chuck E. Cheese Spirit Night: Friday, Oct 12
This Friday is the HES PTA Chuck E. Cheese Spirit Night, 3-9pm. Dinner, family fun and you’re helping your kid’s school? Now that’s a parenting win! The HES PTA gets 20% of the profits, so be sure to mention HES PTA!

Spooky Bingo Preorders
Orders for large pizzas will be available for pick up on the day of the event in the cafeteria, starting at 6pm. Bingo card and raffle ticket orders will be available for pick up on the day of the event in the gymnasium, starting at 6:30pm.
*Bingo cards will be sold in packs of 20 for $5.
*Every kid will receive a free raffle ticket upon entry. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased in sets of 5 for $2.
Pizza-by-the-slice, drinks, and additional bingo cards and raffle tickets will be for sale at the event. CASH or CHECK only!
Online orders can be placed through midnight, October 24 at https://herndonespta.com/events/spookybingo/preorder/
Event Highlights:
6:00 pm – Pizza and drinks for sale
6:30 pm – Doors open for bingo
7:15 pm – Costume parade
7:45 pm – Witch cackle / spooky laugh
8:10 pm – Raffle
8:15 pm – Freeze Dance
